Nepal Ho!: Kathmandu Sunrise

Nepal Ho! invokes the familiar exhortation Westward Ho!, of course. But "ho" also means "yes" in Nepali. Nepal Yes!

Ganesha, the elephant-headed deity who graces the top of the page is much beloved in the Hindu pantheon. He is the Remover of Obstacles and the Lord of Beginnings. He is also a god of knowledge and wisdom. Since Nepal is predominantly Hindu, and I hope for some wisdom to come from my travels (not to mention wishing to avoid obstacles literally and figuratively) I thought it appropriate to bring him along.

And don't you dare call me ho.
